Business Philosophy & Core Values
“Who do you get” when you do business with RGD Technologies?
It is the mission of RGD Technologies Corp. to execute all business strategies with ingenuity and integrity, while maintaining fair, cost-competitive pricing.
- We are a “tell-it-like-it-is” team with a “make it happen” attitude.
- We believe transparency of information between customers/suppliers is best practice to support successful business programs and relationships.
- We have honed our ability over the years to stay ahead of the curve and up on changing technology to support quality initiatives and to best cut costs and/or mitigate effects of negative market fluctuations.
- For on-going or new long-term business projects, consideration of necessary capital and/or other investments where they make sense can be a typical part of our formula to put the right program together with our customers.
- While the “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” mentality has validity and value across certain scenarios, we are of the opinion that creative thinking and continuous improvement efforts across all business drivers enhances everyone’s bottom line in the long-run.
At the end of the day, we believe that strong and profitable business partnerships are based upon high expectations and executed by way of flexibility, communication, and the ability to adapt quickly to market shifts and strategy changes. Our roots were planted in these values 50 years ago and will continue to be a solid foundation in shaping our future.

Brief History:
Our original founding company in 1970 was our screw machine division, Dabko Industries, started with only a couple of Brown & Sharpe and secondary machines. At that time, all business functions, including machine operation, were performed by our owner and founder, Bob Dabkowski. Expansion in the screw machine division proceeded over the years with the addition of customers whose needs brought about the purchase of Davenport and Acme equipment for higher volume requirements, in addition to several more B&S & secondary machines.
Growth over the years has primarily been through a series of acquisitions, adding more equipment and sister companies to our group. This led to the establishment of RGD Technologies Corp. as the parent company to unify the diversified, yet complimentary services of six companies into which the conglomeration had grown. Over the last decade, in order to most effectively service our customer base, we realigned our corporate business strategy to focus on our primary expertise of machining precision screw machine & CNC components. This resulted in divestiture of our Spring industry divisions (New England Spring, Inc. and KLM Tool Co.) and tool making company (Nab Tool Co.), leaving Dabko Industries and New Tech Replacement Parts Co. as our primary business units that remain today.
